Nick Miceli is a filmmaker, actor, model, and dancer based in New York and LongIsland, currently studying Film & TV Production at NYU Tisch. Working as a director, cinematographer, editor, writer, producer, and actor, he builds each project from the inside out, blending performance, image, and sound into a single form. His work spans a wide range of formats, including a demo 2.5-hour feature film, short films, music videos, documentaries, and commercial pieces, each shaped through a hands-on, all-encompassing process. His films and artistic work have received recognition through multiple festival selections and awards. As a performer, his area of expertise includes acting in feature films, short films, stage plays, and musicals, while also working as a model for the past five years. His work moves between character and atmosphere, sometimes following people, sometimes following feeling, and sometimes simply observing the world as it is. Each project is a way of paying closer attention to what often goes unnoticed, building a body of work that brings different forms of art into one space. As thats what film is, one of the only mediums that vitalize every aspect of art into one. He began developing this approach at Long Island High School for the Arts and continues to expand it through his work at NYU and beyond. The goal for him is simple: to keep creating, no matter the odds. He is always in the midst of a project, there is no pause, only the need to continue to create.
